When I was young, I thought I was a sheep but I was a goat
80(H) x 240(W) cm
Acrylic, charcoal, printed fingers, and gloss gel on canvas
As implied in the title, my painting primarily represents my understanding of my faith in Christianity and my religious life. I symbolized my childhood by sheep who obeyed the path led by a shepherd; in the context, the shepherd could be interpreted as my mother who highlighted the essential of religious life within a family or as the Word of God I have taught in the church.
This work was presented in a show called “Animal Requiem”, Asylum & Maverick Projects, London.
