Packs of Knowledge

2019. Multi-dimensional.

Latex, paper, and clay in plastic containers.

Through this ‘Litter Project’, I would like to liberate my obsession with recording and memorizing data by turning the recorded data into shapes of meat and fat. My initial idea was derived from the biological results of food consumption; how some of the food we eat is converted to fat and remains in the body. However, when it comes to obtaining knowledge, the only evidence people have of their studies are the residual objects, such as memos and notes.

‘Meat and paper’ as symbols of ‘fat and knowledge’ sound like a bizarre pairing; however, if I look back on my own life, they are what I consumed the most and what I felt were impossible to give up.
